Tips to Attend Job Fair


Job fairs are the best source of different yet exciting career opportunities for new graduates and post-graduates in their chosen career fields. Aspirants get the chance to meet a network of renowned employers. Job fairs are likely to be large, busy and crowded. So, it becomes necessary to know the steps to be followed while attending a job fair and use them to the best benefit.

Steps: 

1. Reach Before Time – Always try reaching the venue before time as the recruiters are both fresh and attentive during the start of the day. Make visit to tables of those employers you are most interested in working with first.

2. Professional Dress Code – As per the adage ‘First Impression is the Last Impression’, one must make good first impression while moving to attend the career fair as they need to meet different yet potential business employers. Make sure to dress professionally sans that jeans or sneakers. Iron your attire before night and do ensure that everything is clean, tidy and tucked in properly.

Master of Science in Information Technology (MSc (IT))
